Dominator Trains!


Check out the like new Dominator trains! We have some great pictures from the site and a podcast on its way.

Dominator Coming Along


Had a chance to go see Dominator today at Kings Dominion. There is not to much going on, but everything is still on time for a late May opening. The coaster now has power and they are still working on most of the painting, station wiring, trains, and air compressors.

Media Day teasers have gone out to the media and invites will follow soon.

Trains are still in the warehouse and are almost ready to come out and meet the track.

Also most of the side walk layout is done. So when your at Kings Dominion over the weekend you can see where the sidewalk will snake through the ride area. They did say the sidewalk will not be black top, but the same stone as the new entrance.

Thrill Holder Blog Episode 2
In the latest edition of the Thrill Holder Blog, Will defends Six Flags, Mark Shapiro and the rest of the company. Will also weighs in on other blogs and tells us what one park he would bet all of his chips on this year.

Dominator and Hypersonic update
As I was driving down to a meeting in Richmond I saw that Hypersonic was no longer part of the parks skyline. Called my buddy Ed there and he did not even know they had takin the hill down.



This was the last support for the main hill. We got there just as they were pulling it up.

Dominator is also going up very quickly. The break run leading to the station along with the station track, and all the track from the station to the first piece of life hill is in place. The secend piece should be going in today.
